As a personal trainer for quite so many years, one thing that I always mention the client's prior to beginning a program is the importance of a blood test. Now why is getting a blood test important? What should you look for? Let's take a look.

Well at the end of the day if you're looking to work out and reap the most benefits possible from your training program, you're going to want to make sure that you're functioning properly on the inside not just the outside. Therefore getting a blood test is a very good idea. Now what should you look for in a blood test?. I always have my clients get a full metabolic panel taking a look at cholesterol levels, red blood cell levels, thyroid, testosterone, estrogen, vitamin D3, just to name a few.

How can you expect your body to perform optimally if it's not working optimally on the inside? Therefore it's always a very good idea to get a blood test done. So if I could offer one piece of advice it would be to make sure you get a blood test to get an idea of how everything your body is functioning prior to beginning an exercise program. I hope this helps.
